Could it be that the org is off by almost 100 years on the prophecy about the death of the two witnesses. Maybe the events we are about to witness is the real fulfillment instead of what happened in 1914-1918?

the question has always been, primarily: is jehovah really god?
secondarily, the question has been: are jehovahs witnesses really jehovahs witnesses?
or, perhaps worded differently: is the watchtower really the voice of christs appointed faithful and discreet slave of prophecy?

lets play a game!.
let make beleive that this post is headed by elders from you know congregation, and they have heard rumors about you know apostasy, but before they can get a committee together the need solid facts that you know is truly an apostate.. the poster can play either the part of elders who are investigating, or that of a loyal jws bringing facts to the elders attention about this matter.. i think this could be fun, or i maybe totally wrong and nobody wants to play this game.. we might even get enough facts together to form a committee and disfellowship him (in our game).
i'll defend your right to say it, but it doesn't mean i beleive it.

The question has always been, primarily: Is Jehovah really God? Secondarily, the question has been: Are Jehovah’s Witnesses really Jehovah’s witnesses? Or, perhaps worded differently: Is the Watchtower really the voice of Christ’s appointed faithful and discreet slave of prophecy? Those are the so-called bottom-line debated questions and as-of-yet-unresolved issues. As it stands, there is simply no way that these hotly debated issues can be resolved with finality. Each must simply decide for themselves what is true and what is not. Those who believe that Jehovah is God and that Jehovah’s Witnesses are the true religion must in the end live by faith. Nothing is absolute at this point; and, as is demonstrated by the apostate movement from within the organization---faith can be broken. Yet, that of itself does not determine what is true and what is false.
What is taking place today is nothing new. During the time of Christ the same forces lined up in opposition to each other. There were those who believed that Jesus was the Messiah, and there were those who refused to accept it. If popular opinion was to determine what was true in the case of Jesus, than Christ was not the Son of God as he claimed, that’s because the leaders of the people did not acknowledge Jesus as the Messiah. Yet, measured in mere terms of the sheer opposition to him was no indication that he was not who he claimed to be. On the contrary, the many relevant Psalms and prophecies indicated that Christ would not be received by the majority of the Jews. The only way the issue could be resolved at that time was for God to intervene, for Jehovah to weigh in with his decision as to whether Jesus was really his Son. And that, of course, is exactly what Jehovah did by displaying the miraculous phenomenon at Jesus death, whereby the sun went black for three hours and the earth shook violently. Ultimately he resurrected the man whom popular opinion had condemned as a common criminal and charlatan.
Interestingly, many of the Psalms refer directly to circumstances that were fulfilled in the life of Christ while he was upon the earth. Some of the Psalms, like the 22nd, for example, project words that much later actually came out of Jesus’ mouth. Yet, many of those very same so-called messianic Psalms, that have a direct connection to Jesus, also refer to him as being overtaken by his own errors. That’s because those Psalms have an application to the body of Christ, through whom he vicariously lives. Psalms 41:9, for instance, refers to Christ’s betrayal by Judas, it reads:
“The man at peace with me, in whom I trusted,
Who was eating my bread, has magnified his heel against me.”
The thing is, though, that a few verses up the Messiah says: “Do heal my soul, for I have sinned against you.” Obviously, that aspect of prophecy was not fulfilled in Jesus the man. It does, however, make the connection with Jesus’ anointed brothers who are burdened with error and who fill up the measure of Christ’s persecution in the body of believers. The next span of verses speak to developments among our apostate enemies who focus upon the limping servant of God and come in for the kill.
And if one does see me untruth is what his heart will speak;
He will gather up for himself something hurtful;
He will go out; on the outside he will speak of it.
Unitedly against me all those hating me whisper to one another;
Against me they keep scheming something bad for me: (saying)
“A good-for-nothing thing is poured out upon him;
Now that he has lain down, he will not get up again.”
Jehovah’s word is simply amazing. True to the Psalm, the enemies of Jehovah’s anointed have come from within our ranks, and as insiders they use the intimate knowledge of our errors against us, gathering up hurtful things with which to make public accusations, and as it says “on the outside he will speak of it.”
From the standpoint of our vicious apostate enemies, it will appear as though we are finally defeated. That is the way it appeared to Jesus’ enemies as well. The 40th Psalm follows this same prophetic messianic theme. Verse 12 says:
For calamities encircled me until there was no numbering of them.
More errors of mine overtook me than I was able to see;
They became more numerous than the hairs of my head,
And my own heart has left me.
A few verses up in the Psalm is the verse that the apostles attributed to Christ were the roll of the book foretold he would offer himself; yet, in the ongoing conversation that the messiah is having with his God, he says that he has been overtaken by his numerous errors.
As in the case of Christ, only Jehovah can save his anointed sons from the calamity that is due to overtake them. That is how it should be. As in the case of Christ, as he was on the torture stake his enemies taunted him that if Jehovah was really his Father that he should come down and save him. Which, of course, is exactly what happened, just not before his death as the Jews erroneously imagined he should have been rescued. So, as the controversy regarding the Watchtower Society and the faithful slave comes to a head, we may similarly expect that Jehovah’s organization is going to be laid low by a culmination of unseen overwhelming calamities, of such distressing magnitude, that only Jehovah will be able to save us from our hapless predicament.
Apparently then, for awhile at least, it will appear as if our apostate enemies have finally gotten their vengeance upon us. This child abuse case certainly appears to have the potential to inflict a heavy blow upon us, and unquestionably, there is the scent of blood in the water that is certain to result in a feeding frenzy upon those described in Scripture as “ungodly buffoons.” At the public revelation of scandal in the hallowed halls of Bethel, it is as if the haters of Jehovah’s anointed ones are saying among themselves: “Aha! Now, at last, we got those no-good bastards.”
The Psalms then stand as pre-recorded prayers that will at that time be activated as curses that Jehovah will act upon in our behalf. Hence the 40th Psalm goes on the speak for Jehovah’s embattled sons who cry out to him:
Be pleased, O Jehovah, to deliver me.
O Jehovah, to my assistance do make haste.
May those turn back and be humiliated
Who are seeking my soul to sweep it away.
May those turn back and be humiliated
who are delighting in my calamity.
Let those stare in amazement in consequence of their shame
Who are saying to me: “Aha! Aha!"
The 35th Psalm also speaks to the situation that results when their intimate companions, the “apostate mockers,” (Vs 16) betray the brothers of Christ. Verse 21 says:
And they open wide their mouth even against me.
They have said: “Aha! Aha! Our eye has seen it.”
You have seen, O Jehovah. Do not keep silent.
O Jehovah, do not keep yourself far from me.
Do arouse yourself and awake to my judgment,
O my God, even Jehovah, to my case at law.
Judge me according to your righteousness, O Jehovah my God,
And may they not rejoice over me.
O may they not say in their heart: “Aha!, our soul!”
May they not say: “We have swallowed him up.”
Let those be ashamed and abashed altogether
Who are joyful at my calamity.
Let those be clothed with shame and humiliation
Who are assuming great airs against me.
So with the glimpse into the future that God’s prophetic word offers those who accept it, the issue will only be settled after it becomes obvious that Jehovah has issued his judicial ruling in the legal case against us. During the interval when the anointed are laid low by the impending calamity, including the collapse of the present system, while Jehovah remains silent, as in the case of Christ’s execution; when it appears that we are not who we have claimed to be, each person that calls himself or herself one of Jehovah’s Witnesses will have their loyalty tested to the max. Loyalty to Christ’s then besieged spiritual brothers is what will ultimately separate the sheep from the goats and determine each one’s everlasting destiny.

i post the following at the request of barbara anderson.. .
as a result of the newspaper report calling attention to my actions i feel compelled to provide further information that has come to light and deserves full exposure.. the society is very much aware of my intentions, because of a private e-mail i innocently wrote someone was forwarded to the society without my permission.
you can read it in its entirety, below.
Child abuse is a horrendous crime. It naturally provokes righteous outrage in decent folks. I think child predators very closely resemble the demons, which of course have the inclination to corrupt others by slyly preying upon weaker and innocent victims. It seems that because women have such beautiful maternal instincts, that they are especially keen when it comes to protecting children from the depredations of child predators and in standing up for the vulnerable ones. So, I respect you for that.
There's no question about it that the Watchtower has gotten themselves in a real mess with this thing. While I will reserve judgment as to how the Society could really have handled this sort of thing any better, the sad and ironic thing is that the brothers have always been so concerned about not bringing any reproach upon Jehovah's name by having it known publicly that we had a pedophile problem. Now, though, it appears that there is going to be maximum reproach brought upon Jehovah as well as everyone upon whom his name is called. That is going to hurt a lot of innocent people and yet it will not remove the sexual predators from our midst. It may result in some sort of policy change, but big deal! We need Christ and his angels to clean house.
It may be that it is now time for Jehovah to call his house to judgment. It would certainly appear that way from the ferment and apathy among God’s people. Jesus said that nothing concealed will not be brought to light. If the Society is guilty as charged with the way they have handled this pedophile issue, then by all means, we welcome Jehovah’s punishment. His punishment is actually a sign that we are not spiritual bastards. We simply plead with him not to correct us in his rage. As you may or may not know, Luke’s parallel account of the faithful and discreet slave indicates that the master gives the faithful slave a few lashes for his failure to fully do his Master’s will. Elsewhere, throughout the Hebrew prophecies that deal with Jehovah’s judicial decision upon spiritual Israel, there are numerous places where God calls his servants to account for stumbling others and bringing reproach upon his name. So, yes, Jehovah is going to put us through an ordeal and allow the organization to be turned on its head until everything is set right by his own direct intervention.
With the threat of a catastrophic global financial collapse looming larger by the day, the potential is there for the Watchtower to be silenced, as the Scriptures say they will be, at the very moment when the faithful will be looking to it to defend itself. Going forward, Who said October is not going to be interesting?

with all the problems in the 'truth' and all the things that we know are wrong with it there seems to be aspects of their theology (i.e the sequences of the world powers, statue in daniel, the promise of world restoration again found in daniel) that to me still make sense.
although i cannot follow a religion that believes in the destruction of all humanity barring those that respond to their own preaching work i still believe in a creator and cannot accept the teachings of other religions that have no purpose for the earth and believe that mankinds only destiny is in heaven.
my mind keeps telling me that if god was behind a religion it would be so much better than that of the jws.
What has occurred is that you have experienced what the apostle called the shipwreck of your faith. Now you resemble a water-logged shipwrecked sailor hanging on to bits of scriptural flotsam hoping for rescue by someone---anyone. Amazingly, the thing that is beyond your grasp, that is totally inconceivable to your mind, is that such a thing has even occurred. In the mind of one deceived, it is always the other guy who has been taken in by the Devil. Indeed, because of the mind-bending, blinding, power that the demons possess, and the accomodating arrogance of their victims, it becomes immpossible for one taken captive alive by Satan to even recognize the true state of their condition or to come to grips with how it even happened in the first place. All you know is that the Watchtower is 'wrong, wrong, wrong,' and you chant that like a magical mantra while scuttlingly your own boat upon the shoals. / You Know
i've always liked the sound of thunder, so when it came last night, it was comforting to me.. when i walked through the bedroom were the wife and daughter were watching tv.
sitting on the wife's lap, the daughter said, "daddy, help me.
i asked what was wrong.
God, I love being a father.
Now you have some idea how Jehovah feels. You also might project how he will feel when the final assault is made upon his sons and daughters, and why that attack will provoke such a thunderous response on his part. / You Know
the organization cannot be reformed from outside; that can only come from individuals who have the guts and will to do so inside, and the determination to get rid of hardline thinking that is so strangling.
my personal desire is to see immediate change regarding the child abuse policy, and that will come.
to see a clear, quick change in the horribly inconsistent blood policy rather than drag it out over years; kids are dying in the process.enforced shunning is also an evil that they will have to deal with eventually; it's ripping them apart.. .

There was dead silence. He got up and walked away, without a word.
Here's why:
"But those seeking my soul lay out traps,
And those working for a calamity to me have spoken of adversities,
And deceptions they keep muttering all day long.
As for me, like someone deaf, I would not listen;
And like someone speechless, I would not open my mouth.
And I came to be like a man that was not hearing,
And in my mouth there was no counterarguments.
For on you, O Jehovah, I waited." --- Psalms 38:12-14

Talk about us speaking in riddles? Have you read your comments? How understandable are they to the average joe?
I am not speaking in riddles. I explained very plainly how the Bible speaks to the present situation and how Jehovah proposes to yet give his people a change to an uncontaminated language of pure truth. What is so perplexing about that? But, Christ did speak in riddles or illustrations. And his thoughts were largely incomprehensible to the people of his day. Even the apostles struggle to grasp what he was saying. So where does that leave the "average Joe"? I am afraid that the average Joe is an ignorant boob who is victimized by his own conceit.
If you were really a true "follower of Jehovah" you would not be so deceptive.
Just how do you imagine I am being deceptive? Did you know that the Bible writer Paul was accused of being deceptive and using trickery?
Why would a group of people so strongly believe that the WTS is wrong?
Probably because the Watchtower is wrong! That's not really new light. Probably what is befuddling you is that I just showed how the Watchtower's present interpretation of Zephaniah 3:9 is wrong. That is of course something that apostates have never considered and it CHANGES everything, at least from the standpoint of a faithful witness.
I would have NEVER felt this way about what I was told my whole life if I hadn't tested my faith, just as the bible tells us to do.
So, now ask yourself: Where's my faith now? You know all this stuff about how wrong the Watchtower is, but is your faith in Jehovah stronger? Be honest with yourself, your faith was destroyed not strengthened. Unfortunately you believe whatever you are taught. That's not a good position to be in, unless your teacher is Jehovah. In actuality you and many women on this board fit the description given at 2 Tim 3:6: "Those men slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sin, led by various desires, always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth." The only "truth" you seem to know is that the Watchtower is 'wrong, wrong, wrong!'
The WTS said 1975, plain and simple.
I know. They were wrong.
They said 1914 and other dates, too.
Correct.
1914 originally was founded upon numberology and the pyramid of Giza. False divination and the occult is what it is, no way getting around it.
Huh? There apparently was a way around it. The brothers recognized decades ago that is was wrong and they junked the whole pyramid chronology thing that they had foolishly bought into. That's not new light kiddo. LOL
I believe you have it in you to open your eyes, you just don't want to.
My eyes are open, wide open. There's is absolutely nothing that the apostates can enlighten me with. What you have is not the truth. You think it is but it is not.
If you stay in the WTS, you are directly disobeying Jesus commands, you know that, don't you?
Which command of Jesus' am I disobeying? Explain it to me. Don't speak in oracular riddles! LOL / You Know
